In this step, you assign the logistical delivery types to the shipping networks.

This determines which logistical delivery type is used for a particular shipping network. You can also make the following settings for each combination of a logistical delivery type and a postal network:

  • Containers are packed.
  • Containers are always packed even if the minimum requirements for this are not met.
  • Containers/bundles for this postal network are picked up at the packing department.

The postal networks used here can only be assigned to logistical delivery types that refer to postal package types and postal package type variants.

  1. To assign a logistical delivery type to a postal network, please proceed as follows:
    1. Column DT
Specify the key of the logistical delivery type.
  1. Column Nwrk
Specify the key of the postal shipping network.
  1. Column CPk
If containers are to be packed, select the 'Container packing' indicator.
  1. Column CRq
If containers are to be packed even if the minimum quantity or weight is not met, select the 'Container required' indicator.
  1. Column PUp
If containers for this postal network are to be picked up at the packing department, select the 'Pickup' indicator.
