ISPSD_VPRODWDHGRP - Define Production Repetition Group Types

In this step, you define the possible types of production repetition group.

You need these types when maintaining production repetition groups in shipping master data. The production repetition groups are used to control production according to the requirements for shipping.

When you define a production repetition group type, you store two function modules under a key:

• The first function module controls what is produced (editions, inserts etc.)

• The second controls the order in which the repetition group is produced.

According to production repetition group type 'X', the repetition group 'Ed1' is produced in the following order:

• Ed1 (no insert)

• Ed1 with 1 insert

• Ed1 with 2 inserts

• Ed1 with 3 inserts

The current release contains the valid production repetition group type as a standard setting. The function module ISP_PRODUCE_PARTS_OF_PRDGRP controls the assignment of the parts to be produced and the function module ISP_PRODUCE_SORT_PRDGR controls the order in which repetition takes place.

You are advised not to change the standard settings.

To create a new entry, please proceed as follows:

1. Specify a single-character alphanumeric key.
2. Enter the appropriate text.
3. Enter the function module for assigning the parts.
4. Enter the function module for sorting the repetition.
