In this step, you define the sales area to which a new business partner or order is assigned in SBM inbound processing according to the publication.

1. Specify the key of the publication for which the sales area is to apply.
2. Define the sales area for the publication by specifying the following:

• Key of sales organization responsible

• Key of distribution channel via which the publication reaches the customer

• Key of product division to which publication belongs

• Key of sales office if applicable

• Key of sales group if applicable
