ISSR_MAIN3 - Define and Assign SR Product Type and SR Product Category

In this Customizing activity, you define the capital investment types, product categories, and product types for statutory reporting and assign this information to the product information of the feeder systems.

You can exclude statutory reporting product types from various activities in statutory reporting. The exclusion is assigned at company code level. The types of exclusion for activities are as follows:

• Exclusion of statutory reporting product type for posting flows

Here, no posting flows of feeder systems are updated in statutory reporting. Statutory reporting master data can still be entered, however.

• Exclusion of statutory reporting product type for posting flows and master data

Here, no master data is required for statutory reporting, which means that an update in statutory reporting is excluded.

The assignment can remain empty if you have activated automatic derivation (ISSR_MAIN16) and you do not want to introduce any product information that differs from the information in the feeder systems. In this case, the tables are filled during the position initialization or flow transfer.

Note: The tables shipped with the standard system do not contain any data. As a minimum, we recommend that you fill the product type information using report RISSR_IF_FILL_PRODUCTINFO (under General Tools for BAFin Migration -> Fill New Product Category From TRM-TM) since this data is relevant for the subsequent Customizing of the asset category transfer posting/SR master data function.

You can name the SR product category and product type independently from the feeder system information.
