IST_BS_TELRELATING - Assign Document Item to Service

This IMG activity controls which fields in the IST_TDATA (data retention for telecommunication services management) table are to be accessed when service data (such as telephone numbers, IP addresses, cell phone numbers or telephone numbers for multi-line connections) is assigned to document items.

The entry in the Reference object ID (ADDREFOBJID) field defines whether the system searches for an entry (using the OBJECT_ID field) or a group of entries (using the GROUP_ID field), which are to be assigned to the document item in the table of open items DFKKOP, when it accesses the IST_TDATA table.

The Additional reference object (ADD_REFOBJ) field defines whether a service is an individual telephone number (single-line connection) or a group of telephone numbers (multi-line connection).

Data distribution has been activated in SAP RM-CA (see activity (Define Basic Settings for Managing Service Data)
