In this IMG step, you define how master and transaction data from your legacy IT system are to be transferred.

You must perform the following steps:

  • Compare fields with legacy IT system
  • Create data extract in legacy IT system
  • Define the required migration objects
  • Generate reports for the required migration objects
  • Migrate migration objects
  • Test and implement the transfer

You must have completed Customizing for the components being installed before you can migrate the data.

Migrate the migration objects that you require.

In IS-T you use the IS-U Migration Workbench. For more detailed documentation on the migration procedure, see the IS-U Migration Workbench User Handbook.
