IST_NLM_SE_ASSIGN_TE - BAdI: Assign Technician

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the IS-T-NM-PCT (SAP Telecommunications - Network Management - Portal Content) component.

You can use this BAdI to define how a technician is selected for an order operation. This requires data to be obtained from the SAP Human Resources (HR) component. The BAdI is used during creation of an order using the Create Emergency Repair Order service (Web Dynpro application IST_NLM_SE_CREATE_ORDER) or the Create Work Orderservice (Web Dynpro application IST_NLM_SE_CREATE_WORK_ORDER). The workforce manager can find a technician using a button or the F4 Help, and assign an order to them. It is not necessary to implement the BAdI, since a standard implementation is available.

SAP supplies standard implementations for all methods in this BAdI. These access the HR component. Since the HR component provides a number of options for the organizational structure, it may be necessary to modify the standard implementations supplied by SAP so they meet your company requirements in certain cases.

The BAdI is designed for single usage. However, you can implement it several times. The standard implenentation is IST_NLM_SE_ASSIGN_TECH.
