ISUC_PS_PRDTYP_FACT - Maintain Product Types
rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run time Addresses (Business Address Services)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity for system administrators, you maintain the IS-U billing relevant product information of Utilities product types, hereinafter referred to as product types. Utilities product managers use product types as templates to define Utilities business-to-customer products.
Beginning with the header data of the product type, you enter a product type, select an existing rate category, select a creation method, and enter a descriptive text.
For information on defining rate categories, see Define Rate Categories.
To maintain a billing fact for the product type, you select a configurable IS-U operand and then map it to a semantics by selecting a semantics type and entering your business-defined semantics name.
For information on defining operands, see Define Operands.
For information on defining operand categories, see Define Operand Groups.
To assign a price template to an operand category of the product type, select the operand category, press enter to populate the price category, and then select a price and a price level.
For information on defining prices, see Define Prices.
For information on defining templates, see Define Schemas.
To assign a discount template to an operand category of the product type, select an operand category and then enter a discount key.
For information on defining discounts, see Define Discounts/Surcharges.
When you maintain the header data of a product type, the following settings are standard:
- The Languagefield is hidden and populated automatically according to the language of your system.
- You must enter a unique value in the Utilities Product Typefield.
- You must enter a value in the Textfield.
When you maintain a billing fact of a product type, the following settings are standard:
- The operand category and the descriptive text are populated according to the operand.
- The field Mapping IDis hidden and auto-incremented.
- You must enter a unique combination of the semantics type and the business-defined semantics name.
- The operands associated with the selected product type are populated only in the search help.
When you assign a price template to a product type, it is a standard setting that the search help of the Operand Categoryfield is populated by the price operands that exist in the ISU_PS_FACT table.
When you assign a discount template to a product type, the following settings are standard:
- The search help of the Operand Categoryfield is populated by the discount operands that exist in the ISU_PS_FACT table.
- The search help of the Discount Keyfield is populated by the selected operand category.
The example product type ELEC_RESI is assigned to the existing rate category U-E-RSH, created by the method re-use rate category, and described as being a residential service. The billing facts of this product type are maintained as follows:
- The operand A-A-FEE is assigned the semantics type one-time charge and the semantics name ACTIVATION FEE.
- The operand A-DDD is assigned the semantics type discount and the semantics name DIRECT-DEBIT DISCOUNT.
- The operand A-I-CREDT is assigned the semantics type discount and the semantics name INITIAL CREDIT.
- The operand A-PBD is assigned the semantics type discount and the semantics name PAPERLESS BILL.
- The operand A-TF is assigned the semantics type one-time charge and the semantics name TERMINATION FEE.
- The operand CON-NO-PER is assigned the semantics type product attribute and the semantics name DURATION PERIOD.
- The operand P-R-EC is assigned the semantics type usage charge and the semantics name ENERGY USAGE.
- The operand P-R-FC is assigned the semantics type recurring charge and the semantics name Monthly FIXED.
The price templates assigned to this product type are as follows:
- The operand category LPRICE is assigned the price 11.
- The operand category QPRICE is assigned the price E1_1_1.
The discount template assigned to this product type is the operand category ADISCABS and discount 1.
