ISU_IN_MOBILITY_01 - Enable SMS at Portion and MRU Level

In this Customizing activity, you define portions and meter reading unit(MRU) for SMS services.

You can send SMS through automated and manual processes. If you want to send automated SMS, then select the Automated SMS check box in this view. Else, if you want to send SMS through manual process, just maintain the portion and MRU in this view.

Note

• Automated SMS can be enabled, only for sending billing details, payment acknowledgement details, new connection details, move-in details and dunning details. You should use manual process for payment reminders, outage, cheque bounce and rate change, you must use the manual process.

• System will allow you to send manual SMS for the documents belonging to a portion, only, if you have maintained the portion in this view.

• If a portion is maintained in the view, without explicitly specifying the corresponding MRU, then SMS will be active for all the MRUs within the portion.
