ISU_IN_MOBILITY_02 - Maintain Service Subtypes for Service Type

In this Customizing activity, you define service subtypes for service type.

In SMS alert service, the system sends predefined Short Message Service(SMS) text to customers for a combination of service subtype and service type.

Note

You can define customer specific subtypes for service type Dunning. For other service types, we recommend that you use the standard subtypes. The standard subtypes are delivered through the BS set ISU_SMS_SERVTYP_IN.

Consider that you want to send a pre-defined payment reminder SMS after due date, then you maintain service type as Payment and create a subtype Payment Reminderin this view. And define SMS text for this combination of service subtype and service type on the Maintain SMS Text screen using transaction ESMS_TEXT_IN01.
