This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP Utilities component.

This BAdI enables you to send acknowledgement Short Message Service(SMS) for new service connection requests.

During notification creation process for a new service connection request, system calls this BAdI to send SMS to the customer, acknowledging the customer's request for a new service connection and also the corresponding service request notification (S3) number that the system has created against customer's request.

• You have maintained the relevant SMS text in the Create SMS Text

• You have maintained the mobile number of the customer in Customer Master Data(FD02)
