ISU_IN_MOBILITY_06 - BAdI:Update Installation Information

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP Utilitiescomponent.

This BAdI enables you to update installation (change in MRU and GRID) information in the Registration of Mobile Application and SMS Services (EREG_APPL_SMS_IN) table.

The system calls this BAdI on change of MRU and GRID details in the installation master data. This BAdI then checks the following:

• Changes in MRU: The BAdI gets the new MRU and checks if the new MRU belongs to the current portion. If the MRU belongs to the current portion, the BAdI does not update the database. But if the new MRU does not belong to the current portion, the Badi updates the PORTIONfield of the Registration of Mobile Application and SMS Services (EREG_APPL_SMS_IN) table with the new portion.

• Changes in POD: If Grid ID associated with the installation is different, then the BAdI updates the GRID_IDfield of the above mentioned table.
