In this Customizing activity, you maintain a list of the operands (installation facts), the operand descriptions, and, optionally, the texts for the operands that you can use to map the fields of the operands (installation facts) to SAP Marketing Cloud. You select the Replicate to SAP Marketing Cloud checkboxes for the operands (installation facts) that you want to replicate.

The operands (installation facts) that you add to the Specify Operands (Installation Facts) table already exist in your system.

In the Specify Operands (Installation Facts) table, you create an entry, enter an operand, enter a unique text for the installation fact in SAP Marketing Cloud, and maintain the Replicate to SAP Marketing Cloudcheckbox. The operand description is populated automatically and can be changed if required.

In the corresponding integration flow, you can map the fields of the operand (installation fact) to SAP Marketing Cloud by mapping either the operand name or the text for the installation fact in SAP Marketing Cloud to the FactName tag of the sender payload. If you map the fields using the text for the installation fact in SAP Marketing Cloud, you maintain a unique text for each entry in the Specify Operands (Installation Facts) table.

To maintain the consistency of data between the fields of an operand (installation fact) and the fields of the installation fact in SAP Marketing Cloud, you do not deselect the corresponding Replicate to SAP Marketing Cloud checkbox.

Optionally, you enhance the processing logic of the Implementation: BAdI IS-U Installation Data for Customer-Defined Logic BAdI implementation depending on your business requirements.

In this example configuration of the Specify Operands (Installation Facts) table, the operands (installation facts) that are maintained in the table already exist in the source system, and the operand descriptions are automatically populated based on the descriptions in the system.

The texts that are entered in the Text for Installation Fact in SAP Marketing Cloud field are entered to provide more information about the fields of the installation facts in SAP Marketing Cloud and the operands and operand descriptions to which they correspond.

The Replicate to SAP Marketing Cloudcheckboxes that correspond to the E-A-TF and EFLAG_1 operands are selected, so the information related to these operands are selected for replication. The Replicate to SAP Marketing Cloudcheckbox that corresponds to the E_DS_P operand is not selected, so the information related to this operand is not selected for replication.
