ISU_UMC_SETTING - Maintain Settings for Business Processes

You use this Customizing activity to configure values for different business processes.

SAP provides the following business processes in a standard delivery:

1. Record a customer interaction
2. Manage communication preferences
3. Start a new service (Move In)
4. End a service (Move Out)
5. Transfer a service (Move In & Move Out)
6. Create a service request (service notification)
7. Report an outage
8. Create a payment plan
9. Get communication channel used by customer
10. Configure co-browsing
11. Get real time meter readings from EDM profile value
12. Correspondence inbox
13. Use address-independent email

For detailed standard Customizing, see the Administrator's Guide at http://help.sap.com/umc.

Standard Settings are called from the BAdI SAP Multichannel Foundation for Utilities Business Settings (ISU_UMC_BUSINESS_SETTINGS)

The following is a list of all the BAdI Implementations that use this Customizing activity:

• ISU_UMC_SETTING_IMPL - Implementation for Settings

• ISU_UMC_ODATA_OUTAGE - Implementation for Outage

• ISU_UMC_CHANNEL_IMPL- Implementation for Channel

If you want to overwrite standard behavior, you can configure the behavior using existing SAP delivered Customizing or you can overwrite the BAdI implementations mentioned above.

In case of new business processes, you can add them to this Customizing and handle it in your own implementation.
