The Income Tax Act provides certain benefits that allow exemption from taxation. It also permits an employee to declare any other income that needs to be considered for tax computation.

The Income Tax Declaration application on the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal allows submission and processing of such investment and income details for the purpose of tax benefit and tax computation, respectively.
