Use

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to control the generation of new purchase requisitions for operations and components and the determination of the account number in maintenance orders.

BAdI Methods

You can make use of the following functions:

Collective or Individual Purchase Requisition

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) method in addition to Customizing to decide whether for the operation or the component an item is attached to an existing purchase requisition or whether a new purchase requisition is generated.

For more information, see Collective or Individual Purchase Requisition.

Account Determination

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) method to overwrite the determined account number for operations and components.

For more information, see Determine Account.

Activities

After calling up the Customizing activity, a dialog box appears in which you can enter a name for the implementation.

If you have already made other implementations for this BAdI, another dialog box appears, in which the existing implementations are displayed. In this case, choose Create, and proceed as follows:

  1. In the dialog box, enter a name for the BAdI implementation in the Implementationfield, and choose Create. The screen for creating BAdI implementations is now displayed.
  2. Enter a short text for the implementation in the Short text for implementationfield.
  3. From the tab index, choose Interface.
The Name of implemented classfield is already filled on the tab page, as a class name was automatically assigned to the implementation when you named it.
  1. Save your entries and assign the implementation to a development class.
  2. Place the cursor on the method and double-click to enter method processing.
  3. Enter the code for the implementation between the statements method ~ and endmethod.
  4. Save and implement your code. Return to the Edit Implementationscreen.
  5. Save the entries on the Edit Implementationscreen.
Note: You can also create an implementation and activate it at a later time. In this case, end the processing stage at this point.
  1. Choose Activate.

The code you stored in the method will be run when the application program is executed.
