In this Customizing activity, you assign a tolerance group to a combination of plant, material group and material. Each tolerance group represents a range of value or percentage. If the MRP or cost variance of the article is not within this range, the system sets the AIN for an approval process.

Maintain the Customizing activity Define Tolerance Groups .

Tolerance Group AB is assigned to a combination of Plant 0001 and Material group 01

Tolerance Group BC is assigned to a combination of Plant 0001 and Material 133
