In this Customizing activity, you define FI-SL activity groups. An FI-SL activity group is a group of individual FI-SL transactions that are relevant for posting to the special purpose ledger.

Transaction groups simplify the creation of the tax hierarchy in the Define Tax Hierarchy Customizing activity: When you assign transactions to a profit tax object, you can select the transaction group instead of each individual transaction.

Note that a transaction group must contain FI-SL transactions with the same set of sender tables.
