Here the basic settings of the application are defined for each relevant company code. The relevant fields are:

·,,Company Code.

·,,Year-to-date flag: corresponds to the valuation horizon choice.

·,,Period type: use 'P' unless the company code variant should be overridden with the default 'K1' variant, for example in companies where month and period do not coincide. For companies with fiscal years starting say in 1st of April, the default 'P' choice should be used.

·,,Valuation frequency: corresponds to the valuation frequency choice.

·,,Negative stock check: determines whether the 'SUM' version of the ML table is activated for checking negative stocks per posting date. It should only be used with online update of the ML and with proper migration of historic data of the ML SUM version. It terminates the MM posting update. A variant of this option for checking negative stocks during the MM line item editing (and not on the update) has been developed by SAP Hellas and is recommended rather than activating the SUM version here, but has not yet been included in the standard Greek Localization packaget.

·,,Routines program: Name of customer program (of type 'I') where additional routines for valuation can be maintained. Currently 2 types of additional routines are supported:

o,,New valuation methods (routines declared in customizing and called Dynamically in the program depending on material type/valuation class

o,,Form "CUSTOMER_FUNCTION" is called during accessing J_1GVL_ML in the form "READ_ONLINE_WHB" of the valuation program. Here one may define and fill internal tables to be used later in the new valuation method.

EXAMPLE

A customer wishes to create new valuation methods, then this field must be updated with the name of the customer include program where these routines are to be found. If a name is entered then code lines are automatically appended to program J_1GVL_VLCI (material valuation generated include).

By maintaining this field the program J_1GVL_VLCI (never to be edited manually) is automatically generated and includes the specified 'include' program. If the system options do not allow for transport of J_1GVL_VLCI create a transport of copies manually
