In this activity you can archive BOM data for equipment using archiving object /SAPCEM/03.

You access archive administration directly where the following functions are available to you:

  1. Preliminary Run
The data to be archived is determined by means of its deletion flag and the system then assigns a deletion indicator to this data.
  1. Archiving
The data with deletion indicator is written to an archive file.
  1. Deletion
The archived data is deleted from the system.

You can find further cross-application data on archiving in the SAP library under Cross-Application Components -> Archiving Application Data (CA-ARC).
