This section is important for customers' own developments.

Process codes that control further processing of IDocs are maintained for each message type here.

You should maintain process codes, if you want to start a workflow or work item or, if you have created a new message type.

The default settings are maintained and delivered by SAP.

Allocate a process code to your defined function modules, workflows or work items.

• Use ALE service to define inbound modules, workflows, etc. and how they are to be processed.

• Specify the names of the inbound function module, workflow or work item.

• Maintain the inbound method for your process code as described in the following section of the IMG (button 'Display/change more').
