Here you can define, per providing company code (the company code in which the PM order administrator has been created), whether in cases of settlement on the basis of days and when the acquisition date = retirement date, a length of 1 day should be calculated. This parameter is only calculated if settings have been made in the recipient master record to determine that the retirement date does not count.

If this parameter has not been set and settings have been made in the recipient master record to the effect that the retirement date does not count, a period of 0 days is calculated.

Equipment is sent to construction site A on 10th January 2001. On the same day it is sent to construction site B where it is only used for 1 day.

Case 1:

The parameter has not been set for the providing company code. The retirement date does not count for construction site A but it does for construction site B.

Result of settlement:
A period of 0 days is calculated for construction site A. This menas that construction site A is not debiuted with any costs.

Construction site B, however, is charged with 1 day of usage.

Case 2:

The parameter has been set for the providing company code. The retirement date does not count on construction site A but it does on construction site B.

Result of settlement:
A period of 1 day is charged to construction site A.

Construction site B is also charged for 1 day of usage.
