In this Customizing activity, you assign asset classes to the material groups for workwear.

This assignment is required due to the following reasons:

• When you issue a workwear item to an employee and you transfer the material to an asset, the system creates a new asset. This new asset must have an asset class that is assigned to the relevant material group.

The Employee Workwear Record program processes only those assets whose asset classes are defined in this activity.

• You have defined asset classes in the Customizing activity Define Asset Classes.

• You have defined material groups in the Customizing activity Define Material Groups.
