J_7L_REA_VERPEBENEN - Define Packaging Levels

In this IMG activity, you define the packaging levels in REA and, if necessary, assign the packaging level of a recycling partner to an REA packaging level.

If you want to assign a special condition type to a packaging level, you must first have defined the condition type.

Delete an entry using the deletion indicator.

Create the packaging levels and assign a special condition type if you have activated automatic derivation of special condition types using the packaging level for a recycling partner (Conditions Control screen group). Special conditions that are defined on the second level for each recycling partner then override the special conditions that are defined on the first level for all recycling partners.

If a recycling partner requires an assignment to the packaging level and this deviates from the setup of your master data, you can assign the packaging level in REA to a packaging level of the recycling partner. Without an explicit assignment, all subsequent functions consider the packaging level in REA to be the packaging level of the recycling partner.
