KPEIPPE_EXPL_PVS - BAdI: Explosion of Configurable Product Structures

You can use this BAdI to do the following:

• You can implement your own explosion logic for the configurable part of a product structure.

• You can determine the immediate lower-level objects for specified objects.

• You can determine the immediate higher-level nodes for specified nodes.

The BAdI is called in the following situations:

• The system explodes configurable parts of a product structure.

• The system checks objects of a product structure for substructures.

• The system checks whether specified nodes are used in other nodes.

All functions related to assemblies must be used for displaying legacy data only.

In the standard system, the BAdI implementation CL_DEF_IM_IPPE_EXPL_PVS is activated as default implementation class (fallback class). This implementation contains the SAP-defined explosion logic. If there is no activated BAdI implementation and no implementation marked as default (standard), the code of the fallback class is executed automatically.

To display the sample code, choose the available example in the Implementation Example Classes screen area in the BAdI Builder.

This BAdI uses the interface IF_EX_IPPE_EXPL_PVS. For more information, display the interface in the Class Builder.
