South Korea: Define the types of industry recognized by district tax offices.

In this configuration step, you define the types of industry recognized by district tax offices.

You do not have to define all the types of industry. If you want, you only have to define the most important types. You can enter the less frequent types of industry directly in the master records.

When you have done that, you enter the type of industry in:

• Your own business places

• Each customer master record

• Each vendor master record

Finally, when you print tax invoices in the Print Tax Invoices - South Korea app or print the VAT summary report in the Create VAT Summary - South Korea app, they automatically show your own type of industry and also those of your customers and vendors, as required by the National Tax Service.

You can define the types of industry as Crop Cultivation, Forestry/Meat Forest, Fishing/Trolls, Mining/Crushed Stone, Manufacturing/Canned Meat and so on.
