KW_SKPR14 - Define Web Servers for Document Areas
PERFORM Short Reference PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Important: The descriptions from this chapter are valid only for the IIS-based display component of the SAP Knowledge Warehouse. For the JAVA-based variant of the SAP Internet Knowledge Servlet (IKS), in use since SAP_BASIS 640, these functions are no longer supported.
In this IMG activity, you define which Web server should be used to display content from different document spaces. Each of the Web servers entered here must be assigned to a particular location (see Assign Host to Location). For each space you can make several entries with different Web servers that are located in different places.
You must only carry out this activity if you are setting up several Web servers.
If several Web servers are set up, the server used to display content will be that assigned to the same location as the frontend client from which the content was called up. If there is no Web server for the requested document space at the frontend client location, the standard (default) Web server for this document space will be used. If there is no default Web server, the Web server used will be that specified in the IMG activity Define Web Server for Document Space.
- Using Input Help, enter a document space.
- In the field Host choose the Web server that should be used to display the document space content when requested by the client at its location.
- Enter the Web server's HTTP port and, if needed, the HTTPS port (if the Web server is to be accessed with HTTPS).
- Set the default flag if this Web server is to be used as the default Web server for this document space.
