You use this IMG activity to indicate condition types that are relevant for integration with Treasury and Risk Management (exposure management). These condition types for Sales and Distribution (application V) make Sales and Distribution documents that use one of the condition types in their pricing procedure relevant for the integration with TRM (exposure management).

You can use this IMG activity to assign physical commodity IDs to condition types. If no physical commodity ID has been assigned, the system determines the physical commodity ID from the material master data and the derivative contract specification (DCS).

If required, you can also specify an adjustment condition type that is to be used for a given condition type/commodity ID mapping. The adjustment condition type determines the payable percentage of the amount calculated based on the assigned condition type. The adjustment condition type has to be a percent condition and has to reference the matching condition type in table L2TC_CONDICOMM; otherwise it will be ignored.

Instead of using an adjustment condition type at header level, you can also use a quantity reduction condition type (QRC) that has been maintained in the pricing procedure. The quantity reduction condition type changes the base quantity of the assigned condition type. This leads to a similar exposure quantity reduction as when using an adjustment condition type at header level.

You can also set the condition type/commodity ID mapping as relevant for market price exposure when you select a market price exposure rule.

At item level, you can assign further adjustment condition types which belong to corresponding condition type/commodity ID mappings at header level.

Every adjustment condition type at item level can be assigned to a particular calculation procedure. If the calculation procedure entry is blank, the adjustment condition is valid in all calculation procedures of the given application.

Furthermore, you can set a rule for aggregation/distribution for an adjustment condition at item level. Using this rule as a basis, the adjustment condition will then influence the exposure line of the assigned condition type or will be reflected as a separate exposure line.

Note that this IMG activity automatically activates the Treasury and Risk Management Integration in your system.
