LCA_UI_METADATA - Generate Meta Data

In this IMG activity, you run a report to update Customizing view tables throughout the system. Each time you change view tables, you must run this report for the changes to register in the system. You select the XML files that require updates according to the table entries that you have updated. The report reads the table data and generates a continuous string of XML tags that it stores in XML files. For more information, see the program documentation.

Check that the portal information for the purchasing contract application and global outline agreement application is maintained correctly in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> Maintain Portal Information. This is essential to be able to navigate to the operational contract from the corresponding legal contract.
