LCM_VLCA_AREA - Define Areas

Define areas for Enterprise Contract Assembly to map with the Enterprise Contract Management attributes - Profile, Entity Type (Main Organization Type), and Entity ID (Main Organization).

In this configuration activity, you first define an area for the legal content assembly and then define mapping to the legal content management attributes - Profile, Entity Type (Main Organization Type) and Entity ID (Main Organization). The LCA Areais required to request a virtual document in Enterprise Contract Management through Enterprise Contract Assembly. If the mapping between the area and the combination of Profile, Entity Type (Main Organization Type), and Entity ID (Main Organization) is not maintained, the creation of a virtual document fails. The request for a virtual document will also fail if the area does not exist in the Enterprise Contract Assemblysystem.

Ensure you have defined the Profile, Entity Type (Main Organization Type), and Entity ID (Main Organization) in the configuration activity Define Profiles

1. Choose the Customizing activity Define Areas.
2. Specify the LCA Area ID. Ensure this is the same ID on Enterprise Contract Assembly side.
3. Specify an ID the LCA Area ID field.
4. Select a required value from the value help of the Profile field.
5. Select a required type from the Entity Technical Type field.
6. In the LCA Area section, select a required value from the value help of the Entity Min field.
7. In the LCA Areasection, select a required value from the value help of the Entity Max field (Optional).
