LMD_COMRSNUSGE - Define Usage of Reason Codes

In this Customizing activity, you can define where reason codes are displayed in the Settle Route Data app. You can do so for each reason code by selecting the checkboxes for the relevant page areas and tabs.

In a mobile scenario, reason code usages can be downloaded to mobile devices by using the Mobile Data for Last Mile Distribution service (LMD_MA) and are used to control which reason codes drivers can use when they record specific activities.

The Sequence field can be used to define the order of reason codes in the user interface. It can be used for mobile scenarios only.

You can maintain entries without defining a route type. These entries are then valid for all route types. If such an entry exists, make sure that you do not maintain any additional entries with a route type for that same reason code.

You have made the relevant settings in the Customizing activities Define Reason Codes and Define Route Types.

To be able to choose a reason in the Settle Route Data app, you first need to select the relevant checkboxes in this Customizing activity so that the corresponding fields are visible on the UI.

For example, if you want settlement clerks to be able to select reasons for differences on the check-out and check-in tabs of the Settle Route Data app on item level, you need to select the corresponding checkboxes for delivery item, return item, check-in difference, and check-out difference.
