LMD_ST_V_FOTYPE - Specify Freight Order Types Relevant for Route Stock Transfer

In this Customizing activity, you specify which freight order types are relevant for route stock management.
- If Transportation Management and Last Mile Distribution are deployed in different systems (side-by-side deployment), you must make these settings in the system where Transportation Management is deployed. For more information about the data access functionality for Transportation Management, see the product assistance for Transportation Management.
- To activate stock transfers to route stock, you must also perform the following Customizing activities:
- To enable the use of stock left on truck, you have to activate the functionality in this Customizing activity by adding the event for stock left on truck. In addition, you have made the relevant changes in the Customizing activity Configure Settlement Steps.
Define the following settings by freight order type and, optionally, by planning and execution organization:
- Route Stock Transfer Event: The route stock transfer event that triggers stock transfer from the original storage location, such as such as a warehouse or plant, to the storage location for route stock, for example, LOAD_END.
- (Optional) Route Stock Transfer - Data Access Definition: The data access definition for route stock transfer that specifies which attribute of a freight order is used as the route stock identifier. If you do not specify a value, the vehicle resource name defined in Transportation Management is used.
- Transshipment Location - Stock Transfer Event: The freight order event that triggers stock transfer to transshipment route stock (only relevant for transshipment scenarios).
You want to trigger stock transfer to route stock at loading confirmation and to trigger stock transfer to transshipment route stock at unloading confirmation. As the route stock identifier, the vehicle resource name is used.
You enter the following values:
- Freight Order Type: Z001
- Planning and Execution Organization:
- Route Stock Transfer Event: LOAD_END
- Data Access Definition - Route Stock Identifier:
- Transshipment Location Stock Transfer Event: UNLOAD_END
