LOGISTICAL_PRODUCT - BAdI: Handling of Logistical Products

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in component LO-RFM-MD-ART. You can use this BAdI to influence how logistical materials are handled in different processes and override the standard logic.

This BAdI is only relevant if the use of logistical materials is enabled in the Customizing activity Define Handling of Logistical Products.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

If this BAdI is not implemented, an SAP standard replacement logic is executed for logistical materials. The standard implementation replaces a combination of sales material and purchase order unit of measure in a purchase order item with a procurement material and its corresponding unit of material if one is available.

Based on the replaced material/unit of measure, the purchase order quantity might also be converted.
