A Follow Up is a document created as a result of a process flow. For example, a member calls the IC Agent with a certain question regarding his membership. The agent needs back-office support to clarify this. So he creates an activity for the related loyalty manager or assistant, associated to the membership. The loyalty manager or assistant receives the activity, the hyperlink within leads to the membership directly.

In this Customizing activity, you configure how the member data of the membership is copied over to the partner function data of the follow-up document.

First, you select the follow-up transaction type.

Then you select the partner function of the target transaction type selected above and map it with the corresponding fields (member or organization) of the membership.

The transaction types are maintained in the Customizing activity, Define Transaction Types.

You must maintain the relevant copy control in the Customizing activity, Define Settings for Follow Up.

To define partner functions:

  1. Click the node Define Transaction Types.
  2. Select a follow-up transaction type from the drop down. For example, E-Mail.
  3. Double click the node Define Partner Functionsand select the partner function for the transaction type (E-mail) from the drop down and map it with the membership field.

The transaction types are maintained in the Customizing activity, Define Transaction Types.
