A partnership is the relationship between a partner organization and a host loyalty program. The partnership describes the participation of a partner organization in the loyalty program and contains all relevant information to specify the commercial relationship between the partner and the host loyalty program. The partnership covers details about the partner, program participation, and point account balance, and so on.
In this Customizing activity, you can define a new partnership type. You can also define the status reason and assign the defined status reason to the partnership user status.
It is mandatory to select the partnership type while creating a new partnership. When a new partnership is created, for example with Standard Partnership as the type, you can view the new partnership type on the Partnership Overview page under the Partnership assignment block
In the case of changing status of a new partnership or an existing partnership, you can assign the appropriate reason against the status of the partnership.
You can view the assigned reason on the Partnership Overview page under the Partnership assignment block as a dropdown list.
The status reasons are maintained in the Customizing activity, Define Status Profile for User Status.
The following statuses are provided as part of partnership status profile:
- Open
- Active
- Canceled
- On Hold
- Expired
The statuses within the status profile can be changed or a new status profile can be created with new statuses.
