In loyalty management, a membership card ID can also be provided by a card service partner. This is the case for co-branded cards.

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the membership card component to generate an external card ID.

This BAdI uses the method GET_EXTERNAL_CARD_ID.

You can write your own logic to determine the external card ID, based on the import parameters of membership and card.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.

  1. In Customizing, start the BAdI.
A popup appears, with the information Creating BAdI implementation for BAdI LOY_BADI_CARD_EXT_CARD_NUMB of enhancement spot ES_LOY_CRD_CARD_EXT_CARD_NUMB.
  1. Confirm the popup.
  2. Under Create Enhancement Implementation, enter an enhancement implementation and a short text description.
Select a composite enhancement implementation from the dropdown list, or click the Create Composite Implementation icon to create a new one.
