This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Loyalty Point Account, LOY_PTAC component. You can use this BAdI to be able to redeem the amount of points available in the balance of a point account when the amount of points to be redeemed is greater than the amount available in the point account.

Example:

A point account has a balance of 80 points.

100 points are to be redeemed.

The 80 points available are redeemed, although the balance is insufficient.

You have applied automatic correction instruction 808483.

Do not activate the business objects immediately after applying the automatic correction instruction. This would result in activation errors. You must activate the business objects manually.

  • To activate interface IF_EX_LOY_PT_ACCT_REDEEM_PTS manually , do the following:
  1. In transaction SE24, enter object type IF_EX_LOY_PT_ACCT_REDEEM_PTS.
  2. Click Change.
  3. To activate the interface, click Activate.
  4. Exit the transaction.
  • To activate enhancement spot LOY_PT_ACCT_REDEEM_PTS manually, do the following:
  1. In transaction SE18, enter enhancement spot LOY_PT_ACCT_REDEEM_PTS.
  2. Click Change.
  3. To activate the enhancement spot, click Activate.
  4. Exit the transaction.
  • To activate class interface IF_EX_LOY_PT_ACCT_REDEEM_PTS manually, do the following:
  1. In transaction SE24, enter class interface IF_EX_LOY_PT_ACCT_REDEEM_PTS.
  2. Click Change.
  3. To activate the enhancement spot, click Activate.
  4. Exit the transaction.
