Short Description of Function
In this IMG activity, you assign logical systems to a group of logical systems.
Even if you only want to connect one feeder system to SAP Global Trade Services (SAPGTS), you have to assign this system to a group of logical systems to simplify communication between the systems.
If your master data is centrally maintained with a special master data server, you can group all your feeder systems in a group of logical systems.
The master data records must be unique in all the logical systems that you want to combine in a group. The following master data must be unique:
- Materials
- Customers
- Vendors
- Company codes
- Plants
- Storage locations
