Short Description of Function

Use

In this IMG activity, you can disable the automatic delta handling (ADH) for views that cannot use this function. You can disable ADH for your own views or override the SAP standard entries.

With automatic delta handling, you can improve the runtime performance of CRM UI components. If views in these components use scripting techniques that are incompatible with ADH, these views are declared in a system table that is maintained via BSPWDV_ADH_DSBL view, so that ADH is disabled when these views are in use.

Activities

  1. To disable ADH for a view, you need to enter the following:
  • Application: Name of the UI component
  • Page: Name of the view in the UI component

Note: The view name needs to be entered without extension '.htm' or '.do'.

  • DH Status: Delta handling is disabled needs to be selected.

  1. To enable ADH for a view that was delivered with ADH disabled, you can create the corresponding entry in this view with DH status equal to 'Delta handling is enabled'.

Recommendations for Multi-Client Operations

Given that the compatibility of a view with ADH is not data-dependent but rather source-code dependent, that view is cross-client.
