Short Description of Function

Customizing table COMC_IOITF_EDC (Delivery class = 'E') is a place to register Event Data Containers with the Individual Object Integration Framework (IOITF).

Technically, Event Data Containers are usual ABAP Classes that inherit from class CL_COM_IOITF_EDC (<-- the basic IOITF Event Data Container) and inclusing itself. ABAP Classes are client indpendent workbench objects. As a result, this table serves as a place where usual ABAP Classes that qualify as Event Data Containers can be registered with the IOITF.

Hence, this table is client-independent so that all Event Data Containers in the system are available in all the clients.
