Short Description of Function

Using table-based value assignment you can assign values to properties using tables. You can control the appearance of table-based value assignment with the table TCG11_VAI. To address columns with the same attributes or properties directly and to process them accordingly in the program, the field TCG11_VAI-OBJTYP allows you to group columns according to object types.

Possible object types are predefined in the table TCGOBJ_VAI and are supplied with the standard system. If, for example, you require more grouping object types as a result of the implementation of additional functions within table-based value assignment using the Business Add-In BAdI: Enhancement of Table-Based Value Assignment, you can create these in a customer namespace (Y*, Z*). These object types are then available in all clients.
