Short Description of Function

In the IMG activity Define ID for Data Target Adapter, you specify the ID (that is, the naming convention and name space) for new data target adapters. A data target adapter encompasses a class of data targets (such as attributes of a marketing profile template) that can be filled with data from SAP BW. To create a data target adapter completely, you need to program some function modules matching the ID specified here. For this reason, data target adapters are defined as client-independent.
