Short Description of Function

This view facilitates the determination of the required minimum distribution in case the sole beneficiary of the IRA is the accountholder's spouse who is at least 10 years younger than the accountholder. The life expectancy depends on both the accountholder's age and the spouse's age. This table can be maintained using the life expectancy values published by the IRS (publication 590).

Since the values in this table are published by a central governmental organization, it is undesirable that multiple different versions can exist simultaneously for different groups of users. Client dependency can easily result in a situation that the table entries differ for different groups of users. Therefore, legal liability claims may result if this view would have been client dependent.
