Short Description of Function

This view is needed to enable the determination of the required minimum distribution for an accountholder/plan owner. The required minimum distribution for each year can be found by dividing the IRA account balance as of the close of business on December 31 of the preceding year, by the applicable life expectancy (source: IRS publication 590). The life expectancy of an accountholder/plan owner is age dependent. This view is used to maintain the life expectancy vs. age. The life expectancy vs. age can be found in IRS publication 590.

Since the values in this table are published by a central governmental organization, it is undesirable that multiple different versions can exist simultaneously for different groups of users. Client dependency can easily result in a situation that the table entries differ for different groups of users. Therefore, legal liability claims may result if this view would have been client dependent.
