MDC_HDB_PARA_MATCH_2 - Configure SAP HANA Fuzzy Search for Direct Matching

In this Customizing activity, you determine the number of processes you want to allow to run in parallel for a given match configuration and you specify an upper threshold for matches for the match adapter CL_MDC_ADAPTER_FUZZY_MTC HANA fuzzy search.

Meanwhile there is a new match adapter available. SAP recommends to use the new adapter CL_MDC_ADAPTER_MTC New HANA fuzzy search.

• The number of processes is limited to one with no parallel processes if you do not make a choice here.

• The upper threshold for matching is the value as of which two records are rated automatically as a match without having to be checked in the match review process.

In the Customizing activity Specify Process Template you specify whether and in what match configuration you use a matching adapter.

A match configuration is created using the Customizing activity Create Match Configuration for Fuzzy Matching.

1. Select New Entries.
2. Choose a Match Configuration ID.
3. In the No of Processes field, enter the number of processes you want to be processed in parallel.
4. Enter the Prefix for Queue Name.

1. Enter the upper threshold in the Up.Thrsld field.

1. To specify a threshold for the step scheduling, enter a value in the Minimal Number of Records field.
