MDG_BS_MAT_API_ENRIC - BAdI: Change Request Data Enrichment

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Master Data Governance for Material (CA-MDG-APP-MM) component. You can use this BAdI to automatically update fields from the material master that are not subject to master data governance.

The changes to the data have no impact on the UI. This BAdI will only be called during save, when the data is being transferred back to the active area. Any additional error messages caused by the BAdI implementation are considered to be technical errors and result in an error status for the change request.

You choose the fields in the material master to update and then choose the fields in material master data governance to use as a basis to update the chosen material master fields. This BAdI contains only one Method, Enrich Customer Node Extension Data, which enables you to implement the features described above.

You want to derive purchasing data for your material master from the Material Group field in the material master data governance UI. When the Material Group field is changed in a material master data governance change request, the purchasing data fields from the material master will also be updated automatically.

You want to derive supply planning data for your material master from a customer-specific field in the material master data governance UI. When the customer-specific field is changed in a material master data governance change request, the supply planning fields from the material master will also be updated automatically.
