In this Customizing activity, you can activate a BC Set containing predefined change request types for use in Multiple-Record Processing. The change request types are only examples and should be used as such.

The following change request types are provided:

  • MATLCLF ,,- ,,Multi Pro. for Classification (Select)
  • MATLMRP,,-,,Multi Pro. for Planning Data (select)
  • MATLPUR ,,-,,Multi Pro. for Purchasing Data (select)
  • MATLSAL,,-,,Multi Pro. for Sales Data (select)
  • MATLUOM,,-,,Multi Pro. for Dimensions Data (select)
  • MATMRP,,-,,Multi Pro. for Planning Data (full)
  • MATPUR,,-,,Multi Pro. for Purchasing Data (full)
  • MATSAL,,-,,Multi Pro. for Sales Data (full)
  • MATUOM,,-,,Multi Pro. for Dimensions Data (full)

There are two change request types for each of the four sample scenarios: planning, purchasing, dimensions, and sales data. Each pair of change request types offers two different UI patterns: mass, in which the two tables displayed on the UI always contain all data for the change request, and select, in which the content displayed on the lower table changes based on selections made in the top table.

There is also a change request type for classification for Multiple Record Processing which uses the select UI pattern.

Business Rules Framework Plus (BRFplus) decision tables must be created for these scenarios for them to work. See the MDG configuration section on SAP Help Portal for more information on creating decision tables.

To activate the BC Set MDGM_MDG_MATERIAL_CR_MC_05, delivered with SAP Master Data Governance for Material 7.0 Feature Pack, open transaction MDG_BS_MAT_CRMC_BC05 and choose Activate BC Set.

To activate the BC Set MDGM_MDG_MATERIAL_CR_MC_07, delivered with SAP Master Data Governance for Material 9.1, open transaction MDG_BS_MAT_CRMC_BC07 and choose Activate BC Set.

To activate the BC Set MDGM_MDG_MATERIAL_CR_MC_08, delivered with SAP Master Data Governance for Material 9.1, open transaction MDG_BS_MAT_CRMC_BC08 and choose Activate BC Set.
