This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Master Data Governance(CA-MDG) component.

You can use this BAdI to define derivations and default values for the entity types in the data model. These values are used in the SAP Fiori applications and OData services.

This BAdI is delivered through a filter-based data model, for example, IV_DATA_MODEL = MM.

This BAdI is used in the following OData services:

  • MDG_MATERIAL_SRV
  • MDG_BP_SRV
  • MDG_SUPPLIER_SRV
  • MDG_CUSTOMER_SRV
  • MDG_COSTCENTER_SRV
  • MDG_PROFITCENTER_SRV

Methods

  • LOAD_DATA
Loads default data for entity types. It contains the returning parameter RT_ENTITY_DATA.
  • DERIVE_DATA_ON_SUBMIT
Derives data for submitted entity types. It contains the changing parameter CT_ENTITY_DATA.

  • IF_EX_MDG_GW_FIORI_DEFINITIONS
Sets default values and derivations for entity types.
