With this Customizing activity you can provide a data quality service that connects a data quality tool with the data quality remediation UI using the data quality service connector class. The business objects that are used in the data quality service are described by the business object type.

In addition, you can use a URL to integrate a data quality tool UI into the data quality remediation UI.

You have created a connector class that connects a data quality tool with the MDG data quality remediation.

You have defined a busines object type to specify the business object that is used in this data quality service.

To configure a new data quality service you need to enter the following as a minimum:

• Data quality service ID

• Data quality service connector class

This class has to implement interface IF_MDG_DQR_DQ_SERVICE.

• Business object type

You have created a data quality service to process airlines with the example data model SF to execute the data quality remediation using the connector class CL_MDG_DQR_DQ_SERVICE_SFLIGHT and the business object type MDG_CARR.
