MDS_REQUIREMENTS_01 - Preparatory Steps for Master Data Synchronization

You must ensure that the user has the following authorizations so that master data synchronization can be carried out:

General Authorizations

• Authorization for the Synchronization Cockpit (authorization object MDS_LOAD)

• Authorization for the Postprocessing Office (authorization object MDS_LOAD)

• Authorization to process the source and target object in each case

Authorization for customer-vendor integration

• Authorization to carry out Customizing activities (authorization object CVI_CUST)

• Authorizations to carry out the Customizing report in the Synchronization Cockpit (authorization object CVI_CUST)

Authorizations for the material-service integration

• Authorizations to carry out Customizing activities (authorization object CVI_CUST)

• Authorizations to carry out the Customizing report in the Synchronization Cockpit (authorization object CVI_CUST)

• Check whether the required authorization objects have been assigned to the users.
